A short summary of who I am and what I do with my life.
Play
During winter I am likely skiing my heart out on the small ski hill near Boone, IA called Seven Oaks. The rest of the year I enjoy hiking, riding my mountain bike, or running. I love spending time with my parents and sister playing games, cooking a nice family meal or sitting around laughing.
Work
Computer repairs, upgrades, and deployments are my specialties. I consider myself lucky to get to do all of these things and more while working for a health clinic system in Central Iowa.
Recently, I've been on a kick to better automate and document our internal IT systems to improve accuracy. Check out my resume for more information on that.
Ponder
I really enjoy discussing any issue despite my general cynicism towards the utility of higher education. Learning about the big ideas or miniscule details of any topic excites me. I take discussion and work seriously, but at the end of the day I love having a good laugh as well.

About this Design
Website design is a hobby for me. I am not a professional. I enjoy tinkering, taking my time, and eventually settling on a pleasing design. Website design for me is fun because of the process, and not just the end result. This design is based on the Blueprint CSS Sample page. I changed some colors, photos, and styles but tried to keep it pretty close the the original design because I found it to be simple and pleasing.
Bio
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived there until 1998 when I moved abroad to Milan, Italy with my family. After three worderful years in Milan at the American School of Milan my family departed for a new adventure in Antwerp, Belgium. I graduated from high school with an International Bacchelaureate diploma.
I moved back to the United States in 2003 to attend Iowa State University. After several trials and tribulations I left Iowa State for William Penn University's College for Working Adults while simultaniously working full time at McFarland Clinic PC.
Currently, I live and work in Ames and will graduate in Fall 2011. Once finished with school I would like to remain in IT but am considering relocation to a place closer to the mountains. I would also love to do work outside of the United States in the future
